The Academy of Hair Design was founded in 1976 along with a dream to produce highly qualified beauty professionals to be successful. This dream has produced many qualified employees along the way, along with many salons throughout our region. We have made the commitment to personalize your education to insure your success. At the Academy we are proud of our progressive approach in developing a curriculum that does more than simply teach you to pass the State Board Exams. Frankly, we believe that much of the success of our graduates and of our school is due to the personal attention and extra effort that our instructors and staff are willing to give.

Aiken Technical College

Campus 

Aiken Technical College (ATC) is a public, open-door, comprehensive two-year institution offering associate's degrees, diplomas and certificates in more than 80 in-demand career fields. Many of the credits earned at ATC transfer directly to four-year colleges in South Carolina. Additionally, ATC has partnered with many of the area's major employers to provide professional and industrial training.
